You can FORGET about lugging a
heavy bow around.
Weighing in at 15 to 19oz these light bows are PERFECT for hunting and target practice, and can even
be shot from a sitting position with power and accuracy.
Designed from top grade materials such as Bo-Tuff and professionally made
laminates all glued together using EA-40 professional bow glue and heat baked
at 185 degrees makes for a bow that will last a lifetime. We offer this bow in
black and clear glass* from 30lbs upto 80lbs at a MAX
draw length of 31 inches.
Speed, you ask?
Oh yes, these bows are FAST!!! We are approaching 200 fps out
of our standard Gen III scythian with a flight path that is VERY flat for an all laminate bow. We have NO doubt that these bows at and
above 40 pounds will make short work of a white tail deer, and at or above
60lbs, would take a western Elk or black bear without breathing hard.
These bows are being said to be "dead in the hand when shot"
(no hand shock). Silent, FAST! and VERY accurate. What's even more the options
of laminations and riser woods REALLY make for one sweet bow that will quickly
become your favorite bow.
The SWC Scythian Gen III
Wood and Glass laminates combined to make a
57” tip to tip when strung short bow that is smooth, fast and less than 16
ounces ready to shoot. Available in most wood types with maple or bamboo cores
under black or clear glass. Walnut or cherry riser with maple cores under black
glass standard. These bows perform, and perform well.
The SWC Scythian Gen III Youth
Just like the
SWC Scythian Gen III, scaled down for easy handling by the young archer. Our
youth model is perfect for the 9-13 year old, and has a draw weight of 15-25#.
The SWC Scythian Sidewinder
The Sidewinder comes standard with a longer riser and recurvced tips that let
the bow perform faster and smoother, yet retain a fun and exciting bow.
This bow comes standard under black glass with bamboo cores, riser overlays, and
with a left or right handed cut out shelf. Riser wood choices of walnut or
cherry compliment this bow beautifully. Weighing in at just under 16
ounces ready to shoot, this is the perfect brush bow at a mere 57" tip to tip
strung. Comes standard with center served Flemish twist bowstring.
Additional options include: horn overlays, snake skin backings, and exotic wood
risers and limbs (call for current pricing).
Update: We shot one of our Sidewinders through the
chronograph today, with a result of 198fps! 53# Scythian Sidewinder, 8gpp
arrow, 28# draw. We also tested
a 40# Scythian Sidewinder, 9gpp arrow, 28# draw, and got 187fps. We used
the optional upgrade FastFlight bowstring for both shots.
