hickory, SiegeWork Creations got its reputation from these bows. Strong, fun and
easy on the wallet. We start these bows with hand selected wood and make them
slightly over built for a stable yet powerful bow. With well over 500 bows in
many parts of the world in the first year of offering these, its hard to argue
that these bows will last a long time and are just plain fun to shoot!

final sanded, and sealed with polyurethane. They sport a handle wrapped
with suede leather lacing or hemp (shop choice). Finished self bows come
with a flemish twist B-50 bowstring. These bows are not suitable for
fast flight bowstrings. You can request an oak
stain (looks just as great on the hickory bows as the oak) for just $5.00 extra!

Ready to shoot
U-Finish bows come tillered, and sanded. They are the perfect
project for someone who wants to make the bow their own with a final hand
sanding, stain and/or sealing, and whatever handle grip you choose. No bow
building experience is necessary, it's already tillered and ready to shoot right
out of the box. Ready to shoot U-Finish self bows come with a flemish
twist B-50 bowstring. These bows are not suitable for fast flight
bowstrings. A word of caution: Sanding too much on the limbs
CAN throw off the tiller and void your warranty. An equal number of strokes per limb is
highly recommended.

Floor Tillered Staves are exactly
that. You get a stave that we have floor tillered, ready to go for the
backyard bowyer. We've cut out the rough shape of the bow from our stock
that we use to make our own bows. You get to do the final tillering,
sanding, add your handle, and finish the bow. Although you tiller the
stave to the final desired draw weight, we will choose for you a stave that
is best suited to your desired weight: Light, Middle, or Heavy.
These staves come with a B-50 tillering string. One end already
pre-twisted, the other end left for you to tie a bowyer's or timber hitch
knot. These staves require
bow building experience! Since we have no knowledge of the buyer's
experience with bow building, we are naturally unable to provide a warranty on
staves.
